Things available in a chinese supermarket: 

Equipment: Bamboo steaming baskets, 

Food/Ingredients: Rice, Cooking wine, 

Drinks: Assorted types of tea, a lot of different carbonated drinks, weird not cow milks, fruit drinks.

Mitosis Stop Motion

The Rwandan Genocide

Genocide is, to be exact, the deliberate killing of a large group of people, especially those of a particular nation or ethnic group. Thanks Google!

In Rwanda in 1994, an example of genocide happened, nearly 1 million Tutsis were killed by Hutu extremists and military in around just 100 days. 

To stop or lessen the impacts of genocide, we could stop blaming other people, and just take a look in the mirror instead. 

Chinese New Year

Last week Mrs Coutts showed us how to chop vegetables properly. Me and Hope shredded the cabbages, badly. We made stir fried vegetables and noodles. I learnt about numbers and how to write 1-6. Today we wrote 0 and 7/10 and 0 was relatively hard.

How to order your Chinese number characters

This week we have learnt about numbers in Mandarin. Today it was number order in the date. The order is different to our way, which is day, month, year. the chinese, however, go year, month, day. Bye
